SUPPORT AFA IN ITS FIGHT TO STOP PRIVATE ISOLATORS' ACTIVITY IN BULGARIA

To exercise control on the activity of these dog-killing stations is impossible. There have been numerous cases where upon established malpractices and infractions, the National Veterinary Office has drawn up a statement for closing down the respective isolators, but these private entrepreneurs disregard the orders of the state regulatory body (such are the cases in Sofia, Veliko Tarnovo, Vratsa, Vidin...)
Sign the petition for closing down of private isolators for dogs, where using tax-payers' money the laws of the Republic of Bulgaria are breached. Animal protection NGO's are preparing a brief on the grounds of which they will urge the closing down of these KILLING STATIONS, called private isolators, before Bulgarian and European authorities. Back in the spring of 2005 Ms Barbara Rütting, an MP from the Bavarian Landtag, filed in the Chief Prosecutor's Office 103 pages of evidence for the gross violations of law in the dog isolating stations in Bulgaria.
You too can stand up for animals' rights by sending filled-in petition forms to the Foundation's postal address: Sofia 1000, 'Gotse Delchev' Blvd, block 24A - B - 28, or e-mail address: afa_bulgaria@abv.bg
